Stroud District stands with Palestine
We are a group of people from across the Stroud district who are horrified by the genocide unfolding in Gaza and the West Bank.
We are determined to do what we can however small to add towards the world wide mobilisation of people who are trying to stop these atrocities and help bring equality, justice and freedom to Palestinians living in Palestine.

Note from Friday 1 May Vigil at Wallbridge
Note from Friday 1st May, Silent Vigil will be held every Friday Evening from 6 to 6.15pm at Wallbridge opposite the Ecotricity building.
16 May March for Palestine. Nakba 78.
Palestine Solidarity Campaign — Stroud District is calling on all members and supporters to get on board the coach and head to London on the 16th of May.
We will be marching again for Palestine in London to commemorate 78 years of the ongoing Nakba.
Nakba 78: March for Palestine – United against Tommy Robinson & the far right

On Saturday May 16th we need everyone who can make it to be in London for this crucial demonstration.
We will march to commemorate the Nakba – for 78 years, Palestinians have been subjected to a racist system of oppression including ethnic cleansing, settler-colonialism, apartheid and genocide. We march to reaffirm our commitment to the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the refugees’ right to return home.
We march against the far right in Britain who glorify Israel’s racism and brutality. Our unity and solidarity is stronger than their hatred and division.
Stand with the Palestinian people whose demand for justice is as important now as ever before.
The itinerary (to be confirmed) will be something like this:
PICK-UP POINTS (this is departure time – please arrive 15 mins earlier)
GLOS: 8:00 Go Outdoors, Car park (Please message if you are coming from Glos)
STROUD: 8:15 (Stratford Park Leisure Centre Car Park)
RETURN MEETING POINT: At 4:15 make your way to Millbank the intersection of Horseferry & Lambeth Bridge (SW1P 4PN)
It is just straight on from Whitehall. The coach will depart from Millbank between 4:30 and 4:45, the coach will stop at Reading on both legs of the journey for a short break.
It is a full day so make sure you bring some food and a drink with you. A mobile phone powerpack is also useful. We always have a collection for the driver and we ask for a contribution of around £1+ per passenger so please bring some change if you can. More here.
